North Dakota Coffee Roastery Open House
We held an Open House at the ND Coffee Roastery to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of moving into our current building! The ND Coffee Roastery is where all of our delicious Bully Brew Coffee beans are roasted and packaged. The event took place on Monday, June 26th from 4m to 8pm.
We offered guided tours of the roastery, taking small groups of attendees through the entire building. Our tour guides explained what goes on in each part of the building, from the administration offices to the packaging room and roastery. Attendees got a sneak peek into our crazy coffee world that we love so much!
The event also featured local businesses - we had the Hippie Gone Hotdog food truck, Barktastic Bakery, Real Good Cookies, That Protein Place, Two Birds One Dough, and Circle of Friends Animal Shelter. Thank you to all of the vendors that came to hang out with us!
The fun doesn’t stop there. We gave out door prizes to 5 lucky visitors! Attendees could sign up for a chance to win a door prize and we drew names every 30 minutes. We had about 120 people sign up for the raffle, and gave tours of the roastery to 150+ people!
Finally, we held a latte art competition between the managers & baristas of our Bully Brew locations! Our winner was Riley, the manager of the Columbia Road location in Grand Forks. This was an amazing send off for Riley, as her last day with Bully Brew was June 28th. We are sad to see her go, but we are super excited to see where her path takes her! In second place was Jorja - the manager of the Bully Brew Coffee in Hallock, MN. Great job ladies!! A special thanks goes to Josh and Yvonne Jones from QFM for being our guest latte art judges!
Thank you to everyone who attended the open house. We loved seeing new and familiar faces and getting to share our world with our friends, neighbors, and community!
